THE DEAD SERIES Nothing much ever happens in Corinth County, Texas. Hidden in the east Texas piney woods, it's a forgotten place of petty gossips and small town disappointments. Any mischief that occurs is handled by the Corinth County Sheriff's Department where Angel Santos answers the phone. When death does come, it usually visits the old folks' home. Once in a blue moon, a bad wreck out on the interstate or a trigger-happy deer hunter causes some grief but that's about it. Murder's never dropped by or even called. It's been DEAD SILENT. Until now.
